Bishop Nick
Tasked with cleverely retaining clues to a famous family name in brewing we researched ancestor Bishop Nicholas Ridley, martyred in 1555 by Queen Mary for Heresy. This dramatic back story combined led to the formation of Bishop Nick, Sacred Ales of Essex. Add a quirky illustration style and some bold copy and we had brought the Ridley name back to the fore of brewing again.
Result
Bishop Nick has experienced continual growth since launch with a strong take-up by pub and trade customers.The brewery has been approached by M&S and Majestic Wine to develop and distribute their beers nationwide.
